The Dallas Cowboys have selected Guard Matt Farniok with a 7th-round pick, 238th overall, in the 2021 NFL Draft. Farniok just completed his senior season at Nebraska.
Listed at 6’6″ and 330 lbs. by the Huskers, Farniok brings considerable size as a guard. He’s been a team captain the last two years for Nebraska.
With their 11th and final pick, Cowboys draft former Nebraska guard Matt Farniok in seventh round at No. 238. The frenzy to sign undrafted rookies is underway.

The Cowboys needed interior line help going into the draft but waited until the 7th Round to get it. Their only other offensive line pick was a tackle; Josh Ball from Marshall in the 4th Round.
While Dallas still has Connor McGovern as a versatile G/C backup, another spot on the 53-man roster is currently open with Joe Looney remaining an unsigned free agent.
