There is a noticeable difference in the team when he’s playing and that will be something that the Cowboys will be able to build on moving forward.
Amari Cooper
Amari Cooper remains the standout choice when it comes to a wide receiver for the Cowboys, and he is another star that has continued to develop this season. The biggest standout that fans will be able to notice with Cooper is that he has been able to form a relationship with all of the quarterbacks that have played for the Cowboys this year.
The same can’t be said for the other players that play in his position.
The numbers don’t lie when it comes to the success that he’s achieved this season, as he looks to break the 1,000-receiving-yards barrier for the fifth time in six seasons. Downfalls that have been evident in the Cowboys’ production aren’t anything to do with the performances of Cooper, and instead, the blame lands solely on the performances of the quarterbacks this season.
Trevon Diggs
This year’s draft gave Cowboys fans a lot to look forward to, but while much was expected of CeeDee Lamb, it’s been Trevon Diggs that has really stood out. The cornerback stepped up when the Cowboys needed him most, and the second-round draft pick has already made 41 tackles in the NFL this season.
It has been a promising start to his career with the Cowboys, and he will likely only get better the more game time he gets. Diggs has been able to look impressive throughout the season, and while he may not be the finished article just yet, it will be easy to see him improve with better players around him.
