As I’ve noted plenty of times this month, this season is all on Mike McCarthy. He has complete control of how this team runs and whether they will succeed in 2023. It’s not a matter of if this team will make the playoffs because they will, and it will be a matter of if he can do enough with the help of these guys to reach a conference final or a Super Bowl.

In 2019 he posted 1,107 yards and then 843 the following season. He is one of the best contested-ball catchers in the NFL and high-points the ball incredibly well. It will be nice for him to have an entire off-season and training camp this year.
