It’s been a disappointing night so far for the current Dallas Cowboys and a former one. But at least they’re still in the game with a 17-10 halftime deficient in their Week 13 battle with the Baltimore Ravens.

Shortly before the game Baltimore WR Dez Bryant tested positive for COVID-19 and became ineligible to play tonight. The former Cowboy immediately took to social media to express his frustration and even hinted that he may be walking away from football after this huge letdown.

Baltimore has managed fine without Dez though and rushed for 161 yards in the first half. They’ve made the Cowboys defense look like the ones playing on a short week and recovering from a COVID outbreak.

Lamar Jackson went untouched on a 37-yard touchdown run as Baltimore went for it on 4th-down. and has 55 yards overall running. He hasn’t had to pass much but has thrown a touchdown pass to WR Miles Boykin.

Jackson’s one low moment was an interception off a tipped ball caught by Safety Darian Thompson.

The Cowboys’ offense has executed well for the most part. Andy Dalton has 123 yards on 15/22 passing and a touchdown pass to Michael Gallup. He also had his own interception thanks to a ball tipped at the line of scrimmage.

Ezekiel Elliott has looked good with 53 yards on just 10 carries. Tony Pollard helped the field position game with a 66-yard kickoff return that set up Dallas’ one touchdown drive.

Greg Zuerlein and Jason Tucker have each missed field goals tonight to help keep things close.

While the Cowboys’ defense has been an open sieve it’s offensive line has played surprisingly well thus far.  Dalton has had solid protection and time to get passes off and has yet to be sacked.
