Blake Jarwin Feared to Have an ACL Tear, Out for Season

The Dallas Cowboys had been bit by the injury bug already leading into their week one matchup with the Los Angeles Rams. La’el Collins and Jourdan Lewis are on injured reserve, and Cam Erving and Leighton Vander Esch were ruled out early in the first half. The Cowboys lost another starter at the end of the first half. The Dallas Cowboys fear that Blake Jarwin has torn his ACL in the Dallas Cowboys week one matchup with the Los Angeles Rams.

During the Cowboys’ two-minute drill at the end of the first half, Jarwin was going out for a route, and when he planted his foot and turned, immediately grabbed his knee and went to the ground. Though they will need an MRI to confirm what is suspected, it looks as if Jarwin will be out for the season.

It’s a tough blow for Blake Jarwin, who was taking over as the starting tight end for the Dallas Cowboys. Expectations were high for the former undrafted free agent who broke out in 2018 and then sat behind Jason Witten in 2019.
