It’s obviously NFL Draft week, meaning that football content is not hard to come by despite the nationwide quarantine may of us are under.
It’s also Tony Romo’s birthday this week, something I doubt was on your mind until this very post.
The former quarterback turned awesome broadcaster turned 40 years of age this week, so let’s celebrate with three great Tony Romo moments for you to watch today.
First up: Tony Romo and Peyton Manning go at it back in 2013.

Of course, the Cowboys lost this game (in part because of a late Romo interception) but no one in their right mind would criticize Romo for his performance. He was magical that Sunday, throwing for over 500 yards and 5 touchdowns while going toe-to-toe with the Hall of Famer on the other side.

The 2015 season is now remembered as a lost year, where injuries destroyed what could’ve been a division title defending season. But back during week one of that season, Romo led the Cowboys on a game winning drive to steal a game away from the hated New York Giants.
Enjoy his game winning touchdown pass here, to who else but tight end Jason Witten.
And lastly, in case you felt like getting a bit emotional on this Wednesday morning, let’s watch Tony Romo’s final drive as a professional quarterback. After losing his job to Dak Prescott due to injury, Romo got one drive against the Eagles during the season finale. And boy did he deliver.
Romo looked like his old self, driving the team down the field and throwing a touchdown to Terrance Williams.
Just like that, unexpectedly, Romo’s career was completely over. And even four years later it’s still shocking how that season went down.
Happy Birthday to Tony Romo, someone Cowboys Nation will always have a misunderstood soft spot for.
