Cowboys Activate WRs Noah Brown/Simi Fehoko, Elevate S Darian Thompson From Practice Squad

The Dallas Cowboys are coming off of a red-hot December in which they went 4-0 by averaging 32.8 points per game on offense and allowing just 14.3 points on defense. With the top seed in the NFC still in their sites, the Cowboys will need to continue winning and hope the Green Bay Packers stumble at least once.

In Week 17, the Cowboys will host the struggling Arizona Cardinals who have lost three straight. As of Saturday, they will have three additions to their 53-man roster as Wide Receivers Noah Brown and Simi Fehoko along with Safety Darian Thompson will be active.

Brown has been on injured reserve for the last month with a groin injury. He’s currently on a one-year deal and has amassed 16 receptions for 184 yards in 11 games. With him back active, the Cowboys now have a six-man rotation at wide receiver if need be.

Fehoko recently had a brief stint on the Reserve/COVID list. The fifth-round pick out of Stanford has only appeared in five games and has logged just seven offensive snaps, and has yet to register his first NFL reception. The majority of his work has come on special teams where he’s accumulated 48 snaps.

Thompson is a special teams ace for the Cowboys and was elevated as a COVID-19 replacement. He’s logged 92 snaps on special teams, and although he’s only registered 15 snaps on defense (13 against Washington in Week 16) he provides depth at safety as well.

I write dope stuff about the Dallas Cowboys and what not.
