Dallas Cowboys Cornerback Jourdan Lewis looks like he has a bright future in the NFL, but apparently he doesn’t want to put all his eggs in one sport’s basket. Last night, Lewis sarcastically asked NBA superstar LeBron James for a chance to be his newest teammate.

In just one year, Lewis has established himself as one of the best social media follows on the Cowboys. This video is no exception.
In a follow up tweet, Jourdan explained his interest in taking a discount to joins the Cleveland Cavaliers:
I need them nba crumbs

Sadly, “NBA crumbs” are far more lucrative than most NFL rookie deals. A $5 million base salary would make Lewis the 6th-highest-paid player on the Cowboys, but would put him be a quarter of what a marginal player like George Hill makes in the NBA.
Lewis’ base salary for the Cowboys in 2018 is $580,000.
Obviously, this is all in jest on Jourdan’s part. The schedules of the NBA and NFL make it impossible for someone to be a two-sport athlete, and the physical demands of football require almost any player to rest during the offseason.
But while all in fun, the video a good reminder of why you should be following Jourdan Lewis on Twitter. He’s not only one of the best young corners in the NFL, but he’s one of the most entertaining Cowboys players.
