Reports have been buzzing this week about the Dallas Cowboys looking to be buyers at this year’s trade deadline.
That falls on Halloween, October 31st.
Dallas got a big win Monday night against the Chargers to improve to 4-2 on the season and keep the race tight with the Eagles as they take on the Dolphins this week.
The Cowboys are on a bye week and return to action next Sunday at home against the Rams.
By then, we should have a good idea if the Cowboys are looking to move, as the deadline is two days after that.

What to watch
Last season, Jerry Jones and the Cowboys did not make a move at the deadline technically but were aggressive the week prior and traded for defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins.
NFL insider Jordan Schultz thinks Dallas could be in the market to add some secondary depth this year.
With Trevon Diggs out for the year, I can get on board with that, but I also think they have found something with DaRon Bland.
He has been fantastic in Diggs’s absence.
A team to keep an eye on that the Cowboys got to look to grab some players from is the Broncos.
They are awful, and Patrick Surtain II is a stud.
He would be a massive help for them.
If not him, how about Jaylon Johnson from the Bears? They are just as bad, and he clearly wants out of Chicago.
He would be a solid guy to look at.
They should also look at a guy like Jerry Juedy; they could offer a 3rd or 4th round pick for him.
How about Bryon Murphy from the Minnesota Vikings?
3 trades the Cowboys should target, according to @getnickwright:

They did sign him this offseason, but if the Vikings lose again this week and fall to 2-5, they very well could look to move some guys.
Derrick Henry is off the table, so don’t even get your hopes up.
He is not going anywhere.
Adding another running back is a good move.
Tony Pollard is doing a decent job thus far, but they are still waiting for something from their backups.
I would be all for the Cowboys making a splash at the deadline and adding something on either offense or defense to help them later in the year.
Any move is good if it is for the right price and adds value to help them win right now.
This window for the current team is closing, and they only have a little time left.
I would really like to see the Cowboys make a move at the deadline.
If Jerry Jones is serious about winning then he will get something done, it seems like he’s been a bit more into wanting to win the last few years than others.
We hear from him enough, you know what I mean.
If Dallas does make a move look for it to be a wide receiver, corner or a linebacker.
Until then, let’s enjoy the bye week sitting at a nice 4-2. A big win on Monday allows the pressure to stay on the Eagles who Dallas plays in two weeks.
If the Dolphins beat them on Sunday night football, and the Cowboys handle the Rams in week eight, week nine will be for first place in the NFC East.
