After going with Linebacker at Pick 176, the Dallas Cowboys double-dipped and selected Oklahoma State Linebacker, Devin Harper, at Pick 193. While Harper is likely to see some playing time (given LSU LB Damone Clark is going to miss his rookie season recovering), he provides valuable depth to their LB Room.
In Harper’s last collegiate season, he finished with 95 total tackles (60 solo), 11 tackles for loss, six sacks, two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble, and one pass breakup. It will be interesting to see if Harper can input faith into the coaching staff to give him valuable snaps this season, but nonetheless, Welcome to Cowboys Devin!
Devin Harper! 4.49 with a 40.5 vertical as an off-ball linebacker. Once again, Dallas swinging for the fences with high upside, traits-heavy prospects.
Honestly one of my favorite drafts the Cowboys have had, from top to bottom, in a long time.

Devin Harper isn't very big. But he can FLY. pic.twitter.com/YDQMaxU4zG

With the 193rd pick – and their final at the moment – the Cowboys took Oklahoma State LB Devin Harper. He had 96 tackles, six sacks and 10 tackles for loss last season. He’s 6-feet, 234 pounds and ran a 4.49 40-yard dash. Cowboys need LBs and special teams help.
