The Dallas Cowboys, fresh off a bye week, host the Los Angeles Rams this Sunday at AT&T Stadium.
The team is currently on a 10-game home winning streak—their longest since moving to AT&T in 2009.
The longest the franchise has ever had was 11, which came in 1991-92 at Texas Stadium.
This is a game that the Cowboys should be able to regain their footing on offense. Sitting at 4-2, they are in the thick of the NFC lead.
Defense
Dan Quinn and the defense should have one main focus.
Contain Cooper Kupp and possible rookie of the year Puka Nacua.
Even with the great start by Nacua and the Rams getting Kupp back, Matthew Stafford hasn’t passed for more than 231 yards in any of the Rams’ past three games.
He struggled a week ago against Pittsburgh.
Still, the Rams rank sixth in total offense, so even though they are one game under .500, they can’t be slept on.
Stephon Gilmore and DaRon Bland will have their hands full either way.
Offense
The Cowboys offense will be fine. Everyone is freaking out because they aren’t scoring 35 points a game.
That is because they don’t HAVE to.
The way they played against the Chargers is enough.
Of course, I would like to see more touchdowns. I’m not saying I wouldn’t.
What I did like was Dak using his legs and getting outside the pocket. Brandin Cooks FINALLY getting invovled.
Michael Gallup, on the other hand, is wasting that contract he signed. He dropped a touchdown pass right in his arms last Monday night.
Dak Prescott when asked about getting help in the NFC standings with the 49ers and Lions losing last week: “We’re running our own race. We’re not looking at anybody else. … We’re gonna worry about being the best versions of ourselves, the best Dallas Cowboys football team that… pic.twitter.com/UpDxTbKQhV

Prescott needs to stop trying to force him the ball and target CeeDee Lamb and Cooks.
Mike McCarthy must also stop forcing the running game up the middle. It is not working.
Cowboys RB Tony Pollard has averaged 10.3 yards per carry in three meetings with the Rams. He was the backup to Ezekiel Elliott in all of those games.
This time he is the lead back. Pollard had 131 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries in a 44-21 victory his rookie year in 2019 and 86 yards and a TD on eight carries last season.
The Cowboys 10-game home winning streak will continue on Sunday.
They are catching the Rams at the right time, struggling to find ways to win, while Dallas is coming off their bye at home.
If Dallas handles their business like they should, next week on the road against the Eagles will be for first place in the NFC East.

Just think about that for a moment.
This fan base wanted to right this team off after one awful game against the 49ers.
Guess what?
The 49ers haven’t won a game since then.
The Eagles lost to a Jets team the Cowboys beat by 30.
It happens.
I am trying my best to not look ahead as a fan to next weeks game against the Eagles.
I really hope they Cowboys players don’t make the same mistake and do the same.
Take one game at a time, play the way that has won you football game.
