Cowboys Next Few Months Will Be Filled With Uncertainty

This is not a post I thought I would be writing during the second week of the playoffs.

I honestly thought I would be writing another game preview for the Cowboys vs the Lions, a rematch I am sure everyone wanted to see.

With that now out of the window, the Dallas Cowboys are going to have the next few months to figure a lot out.

They brought back Mike McCarthy, which probably means Dak Prescott is going to return on some type of deal.

This is the last year in McCarthy contract, so it is hard to believe that they will bring in a different quarterback to run this system after only one year with Prescott running it.

I am not worried about them winning in the regular season, it is the playoffs that they don’t show up, something has to change.

Spring Cleaning

The NFL draft is in April, but before that happens Jerry Jones HAS to make moves in March like he did last season.

They traded for Stephon Gilmore and Brandin Cooks last year in March, and they helped for the most part.

They can cut Cooks and save some money against the cap, but he has one more year on his deal and I would bring him back.

Michael Gallup was an absolute no show this season. What a waste of a contract.

I still have major questions about Tony Pollard.

He is not a three down back that can carry a football team. Derrick Henry said his goodbyes to the Titans and Jerry Jones should do everything he can to bring him in.

I would give him a two year type of deal and flat out tell him that he is coming here for a few years to try and get a Super Bowl out of this roster.

I don’t even care about the NFL draft, I want players that have made an impact in this league already.

Do Something Jerry

Jerry Jones I beg you, please do something.

If you actually care about winning a Super Bowl, how long is it going to take for you to listen to the fans?

You bring back the head coach, and Dak Prescott for another year of the same result?

We wanted change, you are not going to give it to us, so make a splash move, go get Henry, go get a big name guy that can change the outcome of next season.

Nobody on this team outside of a handful has that dog in them.

I am so sick and tired of writing about what they should do in the offseason to get them any closer to a championship.

Jerry did not give us what we wanted with a coaching change, so do it by brining in a player.

If nothing changes, and the entire roster and staff isn’t turned over at the end of next year, then I will give up hope of this team ever doing anything when it matters.

You had the best possible path, best roster, best the quarterback has ever played and you still got bounced in the first round at HOME.
