Zack Martin has been named to a whole lot of lists this offseason.
A few weeks ago, I wrote about how he landed on the Pro Football Focus All Decade top 100 list. Now, Pro Football Focus is “honoring” him once again, slotting him 46th on their top 50 active players ranking.
Zack Martin comes in at #46 on the #PFF50
He ranked 3rd among OGs with an overall grade of 88.1 last season https://t.co/cZ7e88qGA2— PFF DAL Cowboys (@PFF_Cowboys) May 30, 2020
46th overall makes Zack Martin the third best guard in the league, though we do not know who Pro Football Focus will place ahead of him just yet. Third best doesn’t sound too shabby, but I don’t see how the race for the top spot isn’t between Martin and Colts guard Quenton Nelson.
Regardless, Martin and Tyron Smith remain two of the best in the game at their positions, and right tackle La’el Collins proved last season he is right up there as well.
Though they did lose Travis Frederick to retirement, this Cowboys offensive line should remain a solid unit heading into this pivotal 2020 season.
