In a live chat on social media yesterday, Ezekiel Elliott gave an encouraging update on his previous diagnosis of COVID-19. The Dallas Cowboys’ All-Pro running back stated he was back to “normal” and only experienced light symptoms for a few days.
Speaking with fans through Twitch, Zeke gave the following response when asked about his health:

Early last week, it was reported that multiple Cowboys players had tested positive for Coronavirus. Most of those players remain anonymous, but Zeke’s name was disclosed as one of the infected.
According to the Twitch video, Elliott is waiting to be retested to in the hopes of a negative result.
Several #Cowboys players & several #Texans players have tested positive for COVID-19 recently, sources tell me & @TomPelissero. None of the players are believed to have been in their team facilities. The teams followed proper health protocols.

#Cowboys star RB Ezekiel Elliott is one of the players who has tested positive for the Coronavirus, his agent Rocky Arceneaux confirmed to me. Arceneaux said Elliott is feeling good.

While Elliott appears to be okay and hopefully his teammates and other players are as well, the general business of the NFL is still being affected by the pandemic. It was announced earlier this morning that the start of Cowboys training camp would be delayed and the Hall of Game between Dallas and Pittsburgh has been cancelled.
Despite these disappointments, our chief concern is that everyone remain safe and healthy in these difficult times. We are delighted to hear Ezekiel Elliott’s good report and wish all others affected by COVID-19 similar results.
