The Dallas Cowboys have selected South Alabama WR Jalen Tolbert with the 88th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Hailing from Mobile, Alabama, Tolbert caught 178 passes for 3,140 yards and 22 touchdowns in four seasons at South Alabama. Last season, he caught 82 passes for 1,474 yards and eight touchdowns, winning the Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year award. He’ll likely compete with play a rotational role for Dallas in his rookie season.
Tolbert is a lethal vertical threat and uses his size to make contested catches. He also posseses the speed to garner yards after the catch. He’s got tremendous upside and can become a phenomenal receiver with development.

New Cowboys rookie WR Jalen Tolbert can line up at every wide receiver position and create after catch, not unlike Cedrick Wilson who signed with Dolphins. Tolbert totaled 178 receptions for 3,140 and 22 TDs at South Alabama. Playmaker comes to Dallas at value in third round.
