The Cowboys are in Orchard Park this week to face the Buffalo Bills in a game that is critical for both teams.
Dallas is riding a five-game winning streak, sitting at 10-3, but all three losses have come on the road.
They return to Buffalo for the first time in eight years. The Bills just beat the Chiefs and are looking to make a late run to try and make the playoffs.
Dallas will not only be battling the Bills but also the weather.
As of now, the weather could cause some problems.
Snow is not in the forecast, but rain is expected to be in the area during game time at 3:25 PM CT.
Oh, and the winds will be gusting up to 35 mph per hour throughout the day.
Temperatures in the mid-40s mean the field will remain unfrozen. That is the only good news about the weather tomorrow.
With the tricky weather in the forecast, I know I am not a coach, but I thought I would give my take on how the Cowboys could overcome the conditions.
Offense
The Cowboys offense has been on an all-time high the last eight games averaging over 30 a game.
Regargless of how bad the weather may be tomorrow, the Bills defense has struggled with teams that push the ball down the field.
If Dallas gets any break in the wind, I would take a chance with CeeDee Lamb and Brandin Cooks.
Micah Hyde is out for the Bills, they will struggle even more on the back end.
This should be a game where Tony Pollard shows up. The offense will have to run the ball more than normal. Hopefully, Pollard can give the Cowboys a well-needed career-type day.
As good as Brandon Aubrey has been, the wind may hinder how Mike McCarthy calls plays.
Dak Prescott has every chance to continue to show why he should be the MVP of the league.
If he and the offense go into Buffalo on a bad weather day and put up 30 plus and win, you make your case right there.
Defense
We need a huge day from the defense.
With the weather being so bad, you are playing the quarterback who leads the league in turnovers.
Force two or more and give the offense a chance to do what they do and score points.
They will need to limit the running attack with Josh Allen and James Cook out of the Buffalo backfield.
We will find out a lot about this football team during this game.
They will likely have to go on the road in the playoffs unless they sneak out the one seed somehow.
Going on the road in a nonideal environment like Buffalo will help them come to January.
Lean on Pollard and pick your shots on offense when the weather allows you to.
Pressure Allen and force him into throws that will give the defense a chance to take it away.
This is going to be a game everyone is watching tomorrow afternoon.
You want to prove you can win on the road no better team to do it against than one that everyone thinks will win the superbowl even with a record of 7-6.
