The Cowboys 2021 schedule is already looking to be a tough one.

For the first time in over 50 years, the Cowboys will play both of this year’s Super Bowl participants on the road in 2021. That means that yes, Dallas will need to visit both the Tampa Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs next season. Yikes.

Heading into 2021, it’s hard to see either of these teams falling off too much.

Patrick Mahomes will remain at the helm for the AFC champions, and as long as he’s around the Chiefs will be tough to deal with. Over in the NFC, Tom Brady seems ageless, and the rest of the Tampa Bay roster is loaded with young talent.

The Cowboys have actually played both of the previous years’ conference champions seven times before, but typically they have at least one of those tough matchups at home. That will not be the case in 2021.

Dallas will play the entirety of the AFC West and NFC South in 2021, including another tough road opponent in the New Orleans Saints.
