Cowboys vs Giants: How to watch, listen, and more

After dominating the Minnesota Vikings, the Dallas Cowboys return to action on a short turnaround and face the New York Giants on Thanksgiving Day. The NFC East clash, which many expect will be a close game, will be the second time the two teams meet — as the Cowboys won in their first meeting.

According to The Football Database, this will also be the first time they meet on Thanksgiving since 2013. And, for those who like fun facts, T Tryon Smith is the only player remaining from that 2013 squad that played in that matchup.

Matchup-wise, the Cowboys easily beat the Giants in terms of overall talent. But, despite the Boys being heavy favorites and the better team, I wouldn’t mark this as an easy win for the Boys.

It’s the NFC East, and in previous years, we have seen strange things happen in these division games. Both teams will come out with energy as they undoubtedly know how important a victory is here since they are neck-and-neck in the Wild Card Race.

So with that in mind, check out how you can watch and listen to the game while you munch on your Thanksgiving food.

Fantasy Plays:

Cowboys:  QB Dak Prescott, RB Tony Pollard, RB Ezekiel Elliott, WR CeeDee Lamb, TE Dalton Schultz.

To keep it short and sweet, the whole Cowboys offense should thrive. While I omitted other wideouts beyond Lamb, I just went with the safe picks here. Prescott showed last week how explosive the offense could be when he has an optimal running game, as it opens up the field for him.

Against the Giants, Prescott should have his way, as he has thrown 21 touchdowns, five interceptions, and had a 100.1 passer rating in 11 career games versus the Big Blue.

Shifting to the defense, the odds are high that there will be a sack encore from the defensive line. According to Statsmuse, Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has been sacked 41 times, which is fourth-worst in the NFL.

Giants: RB Saquon Barkley

Last week, I bashed the Cowboys’ subpar run defense and predicted Minnesota Vikings RB Dalvin Cook to run all over them. While the game was out of reach for Cook to inflict all of his damage on the Boys, he still averaged around six-plus yards per carry.

Offensive-wise, anyone can see that Barkley is their best weapon. He’s one of the most talented running backs and athletes in the NFL, and he’s bound to get his yards.

Unless the game is like 50-0, Barkley will be in for the whole game. He’s the only safe play here.
