The cutdown to 80 players on rosters across the NFL was finalized today, and it took just one move for the Dallas Cowboys to do so. Kicker Lirim Hajrullaha, who was signed last week, has been waived.
This move is a good sign that the Cowboys will enter the regular season with Greg Zuerlein ready to kick, as the veteran should make his preseason debut Sunday against the Jaguars. Harjullaha converted both of his extra point attempts in his only preseason action vs. the Texans.
Cowboys are waiving kicker Lirim Hajrullahu, source said, as they trim to 80-man roster. This is the strongest indicator yet that kicker Greg Zuerlein is on track for Week 1 and will make preseason debut Sunday vs. Jaguars. Zuerlein been on PUP List following back surgery.

The Cowboys are dealing with four players on the COVID-19 list right now, which is why this cutdown became much easier. They are WR CeeDee Lamb, S Malik Hooker and Israel Mukuamu, and DT Carlos Watkins.
