Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott has been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week following his great performance in Dallas’ 56-14 rout of the Washington Football Team in Week 16.
Prescott posted 330 passing yards and four touchdowns, with all but six yards of that coming in just the first half alone. Dak and many other starters were pulled quickly in the third quarter, limiting what could have been a record-breaking day for the offense.

Still, the huge production from that first half was enough to give Dak a standout game. It’s the second time Prescott’s been recognized as Player of the Week in 2021 (Week 6 the other) and fifth time in his career.
According to the NFL, Dak is now tied with Tony Romo with five career Player of the Week awards among Cowboys quarterbacks. But both are still behind Troy Aikman who had six during his time.
Congratulations to Dak Prescott on another award-worthy performance!
