One of the more likable qualities that Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott possesses is his ability to look in the bright side of situations. It’s that quality that has given the Dallas Cowboys a chance in just about every game.
Even when the Cowboys have started slow in games, they’ve always found a way to rally and make it a game in the second half. More often than not it’s led to comeback victories for the Cowboys, even if 2019 didn’t produce as many favorable results.
That optimism, combined with some of his other intangibles, is what allowed him to take over for the injured Tony Romo and Kellen Moore as a rookie. He become a leader in the locker room and a player that the veterans and coaching staff were willing to follow even after Romo came back from injury.

Dak was one of the player pictured as an option, but obviously former Florida Gators Quarterback Tim Tebow is the correct answer here. As good as Dak was at Mississippi State, he wasn’t as good as Tebow. When people discuss greatest college football player of all-time, Tebow is often in the discussion.
The next part of that statement is the best part of that statement.

It’s that kind of attitude that allows Prescott to not let the contract negotiations or playing on the franchise tag to bother him. He’s focused on playing football and being the best player he can be. He knows that eventually it will all take care of itself. In fact, he’s excited to be with the Cowboys and content to play on the franchise tag.
After a stellar 2019 that saw him finish top five in QBR and surpass 30 passing touchdowns for the first time in his career, there’s zero reason to doubt that he’ll build off of that breakout season.

Prescott is a resilient player who grinds to get better. His work ethic brings the best out of him and his teammates. His toughness inspires.
With the franchise tag in place for the 2020 season, the attention of the Cowboys, Prescott, and the fans turn to the training camp and the regular season. With a new head coach upgraded weapons on offense and a more aggressive offensive and defensive personality, the Cowboys look poised to be a contender in the NFC this season.
