Week 11: Cowboys @ Lions

Anytime the Dallas Cowboys and the Detroit Lions square off against one another you can pretty much expect a close game. Both of these ball clubs are very familiar with one another and always play each other tough regardless of the circumstances. I’m predicting this to be a back-and-forth game between these two, but one that still favors the Cowboys, despite the Lions home-field advantage.

The Cowboy killer, Golden Tate, is no longer on Detroit’s roster, which is a huge win for Dallas’ secondary. He scored two touchdowns and racked up 132 receiving yards on eight catches last season against the Cowboys when still with the Lions before getting traded away to the Eagles. Luckily he’s gone, which leaves nobody else on Detroit’s roster who should give the Cowboys defense much of a problem. That’s why I’m predicting yet another victory on the road for Dallas.

Prediction: Cowboys, 26-23
