Week 8: Bye Week
I may be a little overly optimistic, but I really think the Dallas Cowboys have a good chance of entering their Bye Week with only one loss and an overall record of 6-1. This would be the ideal situation heading into the second half of the season. A playoff spot wouldn’t be guaranteed at this point, but with a winning record like I’m predicting it wouldn’t take too much more to secure one.
If this is indeed what happens, it means Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore and the Cowboys offense is more than likely firing on all cylinders. That means there’s not a whole lot that needs to be corrected or tinker with in Week 8. Healthwise, this could be the perfect time to have a week off. This would give them nearly three whole weeks at home, sleeping in their own beds, before having to hit the road against the Giants and enter the grueling November/December stretch of their schedule.
