The Dallas Cowboys kickoff their 2023 season Sunday night against the New York Giants.
They will look to continue their total domination against one of their NFC East foes.
It has been over 2,400 days since the Giants have beaten a Dak Prescott-led Cowboys team.
Wild: It has been 2,442 days since the #Giants beat a Dak Prescott-led #Cowboys team.
They have lost ten straight matchups and haven’t defeated Dak Prescott since his rookie season in 2016.
In those ten wins, Dak has 21 passing touchdowns and only 5 INTs.

Dallas has won ten straight matchups with Prescott behind center, his only loss coming when he was a rookie in 2016.
Since then, the Giants have only been able to muster one win against the Cowboys.
That happened on January 3rd, 2021, when Andy Dalton took over for Prescott after he broke his leg.
New year, same result. The Cowboys will roll into Metlife and put the NFC on notice during Sunday Night Football; nothing better.
The Dallas Cowboys are 0-3 in season openers with Mike McCarthy as their head coach, but that will end Sunday thanks to the New York Football Giants.

The Cowboys have won 4 meetings in a row and 11 of the last 12 matchups. Dallas is 5-1 in New York since 2017.
Against the spread, the Cowboys and Giants split their games last season and split the previous 6 meetings. The Over is 3-1 across the last 4.
The Cowboys took care of the Giants a year ago with and without Prescott.
A 28-20 victory by Prescott and a 23-16 dub by Cooper Rush.
I am looking forward to watching Mike McCarthy calling plays—the addition of Brandin Cooks and a healthy Michael Gallup on offense.
This team averaged 30 points a game last year, with Noah Brown and Dennis Houston behind CeeDee Lamb.
Stephon Gilmore joins a defense that has led the NFL in takeaways the last two seasons.
Gilmore, the former Defensive Player of the Year, leaves a rebuilding Colts team and joins a contender; this season is going to be fun.
Who wins Defensive Player of the Year this season?! #Kickoff2023 @peter_king is all in on Micah Parsons. #DallasCowboys pic.twitter.com/xnjEMxyROE

I expect Dallas to jump on the Giants early. New York is going to try and run Saquon Barkley down their throat.
That will be the biggest test for the Cowboys.
Did they do enough by drafting Mazi Smith and resigning Johnathan Hankins to help slow down the run?
I will live with letting Daniel Jones try and beat the secondary of the Cowboys.
The one player I will be worried about for the Cowboys is Brandon Aubrey.
I can’t believe Dallas is really going to send out a rookie who has only been kicking a football for two years.
It won’t take long to replace him if he starts to miss, but the good news is, they won’t need him to make any game winning kicks in week one.
Prescott had the worst year of his career last season, still won 12 games and beat Tom Brady on the road in a playoff game.
He won’t throw 15 interceptions again.
Dallas starts the season 1-0, they continue their domination over the Giants on opening night 33-20.
