With the 171st pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys have selected QB Mike White from Western Kentucky. It’s been a great Draft for Cowboys Nation so far, and now they add depth at QB behind Dak Prescott.
The #Cowboys just took a QB, someone to compete for a backup spot. At No. 34 in the fifth round, they select #WKU’s QB Mike White.

White still has a long way to go and needs to progress in various aspects of the game, specially with his footwork. He’s Dane Brugler’s sixth best QB according to his NFL Draft guide. Yet another great-value pick for the Cowboys.
In the fifth round, Mike White could be a steal. Cooper Rush had a good preseason last year, but Mike White will come in and fight for the backup job and he could very well earn it.

The Dallas Cowboys still hold two picks in the sixth round (193 and 208) after trading for Tavon Austin. They also hold the 237th pick in the seventh round.
