Farewell, and Thank you to Inside The Star

What started out as a hobby turned into a passion for me once joining Inside The Star back in 2016 as a Staff Writer. Never in my wildest imagination would I have believed I would find such joy covering the Dallas Cowboys for one of the most passionate fan bases in all of professional sports. But, that’s exactly what happened.

Week after week I challenged myself to put out content fans around Cowboys Nation wanted to read. They can’t all be hits of course, but I’d like to believe my work hasn’t gone unnoticed and that you, as readers, looked forward to reading my work. Sadly, and with much reluctance, I’ve decided my time with ITS has come to an end.

I don’t know if it was my heartstrings or gut, but something has been pulling me in a different direction for a few months now. Sometimes you just have to throw caution to the wind and do what you think is best. Because of that, I’ve decided to move on.

First off, I want to thank my Managing Editor Bryson Treece. He took a chance on a somewhat inexperienced writer and helped me improve my craft by leaps and bounds over the years. I can’t properly put into words how much I have truly enjoyed this opportunity and how much I will take away from it because of you.

Secondly, I want to thank my fellow ITS Staff Writers. You’re a great group of guys and it’s been an absolute pleasure working with all of you over the years. I hope you’ve learned as much from me as I have from every single one of you. Keep up the good work!

And last but not least, I want to thank the great fan base of this website, especially the loyal readers. We may not see eye to eye all the time on certain things, but we do share the same kind of passion for America’s Team. I can’t tell you how much I’ve enjoyed interacting with all of you over the years. It’s one of the things I may miss most about the ITS community.

Farewell, and thank you Cowboys Nation!
