First Game of December Could Loom Large for the Cowboys

The Cowboys will take on the Colts at home, week 13, on December 4th. This game could have a chance to change the direction for Dallas and either help or hurt them.

This matchup will take place on Sunday night. Five games will remain on the schedule after this one concludes, I think this will be the one that gives us a strong indicator of whether Dallas is going to roll toward the end of the year or stumble when they need to hit the ground running.

When these two teams take the field, I think Dallas will be either 8-and-3 or 7-and-4, making this matchup one that can change the course toward the end of the year for the Cowboys. The schedule on paper does not look tough after this matchup with the Colts. Dallas will finish the season against the Texans, Jaguars, Eagles, Titans, and Washington.

With Carson Wentz back in the NFC East, when Dallas takes on the Colts, they will face Matt Ryan, who was traded to the Colts in March for a third-round selection in the 2022 NFL Draft.

I say this game will help determine how the Cowboys will finish because, as a team, you need to be playing your best football when the calendar hits December and January. I anticipate the Colts being very competitive. It will be a tough day if they still don’t have an answer to teams running the football. Johnathan Taylor might have a field day.

This game could also depend on health. If Dak Prescott is under center, I think they will come away with this win at home.

In conclusion, a win, I think they ride away with their second consecutive NFC East crown. A loss, no matter how people will forget any early success in the season that they had.
