It’s been no secret that former Dallas Cowboys Wide Receiver Dez Bryant is eager to make an NFL return, and he wants to do it in Big D. Thursday at the Sports Performance Center at The Star in Frisco, Bryant worked out with wide receiver coach David Robinson.

Bryant has dropped 10 pounds which puts him at his playing weight during his eight-year stint with the Cowboys. The organization’s all-time leader in touchdown receptions reiterated that he doesn’t have to be the main guy in any offense, however, he can still be effective.
I want to be a part of a team where I’m not the focal point.. I have no problem not being the main guy…. I bet I do damage

Of course, working is a lot different from being in game shape, but Bryant has relentlessly been pursuing getting back to the game he loves. At 31, his days of being the All-Pro receiver from years previous are over, but giving the right situation, Bryant is showing that there’s possibly enough left in the tank to help a contender compete for a Super Bowl.
Even coming off of an 8-8 season, the Cowboys have one of the youngest and most talented rosters in the NFL. During the Conference Championship games last month, Bryant made it clear that he wants to return to the Cowboys and play alongside their explosive offensive talent.
Give me the role they gave witten.. no shot at witten ..let me play with zeke pollard Gallup cooper Cobb jarwin…… think about it.. in the mean time I’m working

The idea of Bryant returning the NFL, particularly in Dallas, does have it’s question marks. The first thing will be can his body take the physical toll of a 16-game season after being away from the league for two years. Also, even though Bryant still has a great relationship with Owner Jerry Jones, Executive Vice President Stephen Jones might not be so willing to bring him back considering how he departed in 2018, that was until this morning.
Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram noted Jones didn’t rule out the Cowboys signing Bryant in comments Thursday.
“He has texted me that he would like to come back,” Jones said. “We have nothing but great respect for Dez and what he accomplished here. Certainly, as we look forward into the future, we look at all opportunities and all potential players that could maybe help us out.”
Smart money says that Bryant will be on an NFL roster next season, and we all know where he wants that to be. While he might not be in the immediate plans as the offseason starts to take shape, but the lines of communication are obviously open. Will Bryant get his shot to once again play for America’s Team? We’ll all be paying close attention.
