The Dallas Cowboys are going to be well represented in this year’s Pro Football Hall of Fame ceremony. A few days after Coach Jimmy Johnson was named to the Class of 2020, the great Cliff Harris has now also been announced as an inductee.

Harris played safety for the Cowboys from 1970-1979. He won two Super Bowls and was a six-time Pro Bowler. Cliff was named an All-Pro five times, four of those as a first teamer, and was also part of the NFL’s All-Decade Team for the 1970s.

Harris was named to the Cowboys’ Ring of Honor in 2004; the first safety in team history to receive that honor. He was the only safety in the Ring until Darren Woodson was added in 2015.

This year’s induction ceremony will now feature the two greatest eras of Dallas Cowboys football. Cliff Harris was a star for America’s Team in the 70s and JImmy Johnson was the architect for the dynasty of the 90s.

Given these two inductions, there is a good chance that the Cowboys will be asked to play in the first preseason game during Hall of Fame weekend.
