Wide Receiver Denzel Mims has opened up about how he feels towards the New York Jets. In a message from his agent, Ron Slavin, he shares that he has tried to make it work in New York but the Jets are not giving him the chance he needs.

This is big news because a potential trade could happen right before the regular season starts. Usually, when a wide receiver isn’t happy at a certain team, that team trades him fast. What does all this have to do with the Dallas Cowboys though?
Well, we all know that the Cowboys have been lacking in the wide receiver department all year. As of right now, the three main receivers the Cowboys have are CeeDee Lamb, Jalen Tolbert, and DeVontae Turpin. These three are very talented, but an extra pair of hands would help the Cowboys out.
Another good point to look at is the Cowboys have been having some devastating injuries so far. Just the other day Tyron Smith who plays Tackle had a near career-ending leg injury. This injury will last most likely until December. Who’s to say that the Cowboys won’t have one of their wide receivers get hurt next?
If any team needs a free agent/ trade, it’s the Dallas Cowboys. Mims would fit in well with Dallas and would probably get the attention he deserves. Mims has a total of 31 catches and 490 yards. He’s been targeted 67 times and has played 20 career games.
Could we see Mims as a Cowboy in the following weeks? Sadly this fact isn’t too likely, at least not right now. The Jets still haven’t confirmed if they are up to trade or release Mims yet. If Mims does go up for a trade, the Cowboys should for sure pick him up.
Over the next couple of weeks, the Cowboys should just lay back and make sure no more injuries occur. Keep an eye on Mims this following week as a trade alert should be coming up soon.
