Predicting Dallas’ All-Pro/Pro Bowl Selections for 2022

It may not seem like it given Dallas’ terrible offseason, but there is still much talent on the roster. Both sides of the ball have premium talent, including some of the best players at their positions. The Cowboys had six Pro Bowl selections and three All-Pro selections last season, and they could reach or get close to those numbers again in 2022.

Here are the Cowboys who I predict to earn All-Pro and Pro Bowl selections this coming season:

G Zack Martin – All-Pro/Pro Bowl

This one’s easy. Zack Martin has been one of the NFL’s best offensive linemen for several years now and has received both All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors almost every season he’s been in the league.

Provided he doesn’t suffer a major injury, I expect Martin to receive All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors again in 2022.

LB Micah Parsons – All-Pro/Pro Bowl

Micah Parsons was the league’s best linebacker last season and is arguably the best linebacker in the NFL right now. His 2021 campaign was amazing and there’s no reason to believe he’ll slow down in 2022.

Parsons has quickly become the centerpiece of Dallas’ defense. He’ll be relied upon to do everything from coverage, to pass rushing to run defending. He’ll easily get a Pro Bowl spot and will be a favorite to make an All-Pro team.

WR CeeDee Lamb – All-Pro/Pro Bowl

Five receivers earned an All-Pro selection in 2021 and eight in 2020. I believe Lamb is about to have a fantastic season, and it’ll be enough for at least one of the Associated Press, Pro Football Writers of America or Sporting News to give him a spot.

Lamb will be Dallas’ WR1 for years to come. Soon, he’ll become one of the best.

QB Dak Prescott – Pro Bowl

Prescott is one of the league’s better quarterbacks, having set a franchise record with 37 touchdown passes last season. He arguably should’ve made it last season and will definitely make it this season.

The offense will live and die by his play. Luckily for the Cowboys, you can always count on Prescott to have a great season.

T Tyron Smith – Pro Bowl

He’s already made eight Pro Bowls, including one last season. Unless he suffers another injury, who’s to say he can’t make another one?

Smith is still one of the best offensive tackles in football and a key part of Dallas’ offensive line. If he performs to expectations, he’ll earn another Pro Bowl selection.

CB Trevon Diggs – Pro Bowl

Diggs’ 11 interceptions were the reason for his All-Pro honors last season. He may not reach that mark again, but he can still earn Pro Bowl honors next season.

Diggs is a polarizing player, but still one of the league’s better cornerbacks. If he can improve some of his coverage skills, he’ll become an elite player in the league. Diggs arguably already is elite.

K Jonathan Garibay – All-Rookie

With Chris Naggar gone, Jonathan Garibay is the only kicker on the roster. Coming off a senior season at Texas Tech where he missed just one field goal and earned First-team All-Big 12 honors, I expect Garibay to have a solid season at kicker.

There shouldn’t be many rookie kickers for Garibay to compete with, so he should be able to grab a spot unless he vastly underperforms.
