QB Kyler Murray Hopes To Continue His AT&T Stadium Success On Monday Night

Monday night will be the first time Kyler Murray faces the Dallas Cowboys, but it won’t be the first time he’s played at AT&T Stadium.

In fact, Murray has displayed dominance in the Cowboys’ home stadium. The former Allen High School quarterback started in five high school playoff games at AT&T Stadium, including three state title games. The result? Well, he won them all, of course.

Kyler Murray also started a game for Oklahoma back in 2018 at Jerry World, winning the Big 12 Championship during his Heisman Trophy season. If you add up his record from high school, as a college backup with A&M, and as a college starter with the Sooners, Murray is a combined 8-0 at AT&T Stadium.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is well aware of Murray’s success.

Jones told the media on Friday that Kyler is one of the “top ten” talents to ever play at his building.

And when it comes to high school quarterbacks, Jones is spot on.

Some considered Kyler Murray to be the best high school quarterback Texas has ever seen, finishing his career with a 42-0 record and winning the Gatorade Football Player of the Year. He won three straight state championships as a starter, by the way.

He’s off to a heck of a professional start as well. Last season, the former number one pick was named the Offensive Rookie of the Year, and he currently has the Cardinals off to a 3-2 start.

Murray’s going to be tough to stop on Monday night, and he’ll be feeling right at home in Arlington.
