The 3-1 Dallas Cowboys travel to Los Angeles this weekend for their week 5 match against the defending Super Bowl Champion Rams. But will the Cowboys have a home-field advantage, in L.A.?
The Rams are preparing for Cowboys fans to take over SoFi stadium, as Rams head coach Sean McVay has his team practicing with extra-loud sound at practice and preparing a silent count for his offense to combat the anticipated crowd noise this Sunday.
Sean McVay says that they are anticipating, preparing, that there's the possibility they'll need to go to a silent count against the Cowboys on Sunday at SoFi Stadium.

In week 2 of the 2021 NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys traveled to SoFi stadium to take on the Los Angeles Chargers, and it was evident from the kickoff that Cowboys fans were present.
Throughout the game, SoFi stadium was rocking with “Let’s go defense” chants while Justin Herbert and the Chargers’ offense were on the field. Cowboys’ cornerback Trevon Diggs was often waving his hands, encouraging the crowd to get louder.
After the Cowboys’ 20-17 win over the Chargers, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb said “Cowboys Nation definitely came out. It felt like a home game.”
That’s what the Cowboys will expect going into the game this Sunday against the Rams, and that just might be the case.
California has been a staple in the fanbase of the Dallas Cowboys. Every year, the Cowboys host their training camp in Oxnard, CA, not too far from the site of SoFi stadium in Inglewood, CA. Cowboys Owner/General Manager Jerry Jones also happens to be a California native, growing up just minutes away from SoFi, and was an advocate for the stadium’s creation.
On Friday, Jerry Jones expressed his excitement about seeing the Cowboys fans in attendance come this Sunday – “You can’t imagine the Cowboys fans that are out there. There are a bunch of them. We just have a ton of Los Angeles Cowboys fans. I hope we’ll have a nice helping of them out there Sunday,” Jones said, during his radio appearance on 105.3 The Fan.
The Cowboys are coming into this game on a winning streak, and with a defense that is shutting down its opponents, having not allowed a single team to score 20 points on them so far this year.
That statistic might hold for another week, as the L.A. Rams come into this game with serious concerns. While the Rams are heavily favored to win this game by most analysts, it is truly hard to see the Cowboys as an underdog in this match.
Sure, the Rams have arguably some of the greatest players in the NFL on their team and the Cowboys will have their hands full going up against the likes of Aaron Donald, Cooper Kupp, and Jalen Ramsey. But the Cowboys are finding ways to win games (even without their starting quarterback), while the Rams seem to be in sort of a Super Bowl hangover, having just lost to their divisional opponent last week in ugly fashion.
Regardless of which team’s fans will be making the most noise during this matchup, it will be exciting to see if the Cowboys can expect the same turnout as last year.
