Report: Amari Cooper to Re-Sign With Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys had several free agents to make decisions on, with Amari Cooper being the most important after Dak Prescott. Earlier today, the Cowboys placed the exclusive franchise tag on Prescott and failed to reach a deal with Cooper before the legal tampering window opened, until now.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Cooper intends to re-sign with the Cowboys on a five-year, 100 million dollar deal.

There was some uncertainty after Cooper wasn’t signed before 11:59 am ET today that the Cowboys would be outbid and lose him in free agency. One of the organization’s biggest rivals, the Washington Redskins, tried to snatch Cooper by throwing the Brinks truck at him according to Micheal Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News. However, he’s staying put for the foreseeable future. More details to come.

I write dope stuff about the Dallas Cowboys and what not.
