Cowboys Wide Receiver CeeDee Lamb is currently dealing with an ankle sprain suffered in yesterday’s practice. He appeared on Dallas’ injury report yesterday and is limited today, but there isn’t serious concern according to Head Coach Mike McCarthy.
Lamb is currently leading the Cowboys in catches and receiving yards in 2021, though closely followed by Amari Cooper in both categories. The margins narrowed last week in Minnesota when Cooper’s big day and game-winning touchdown helped Dallas get the upset win.

If Lamb were to miss Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos, Dallas would likely have to turn to Cedrick Wilson as the replacement. It would also mean more opportunities for Noah Brown and possibly some rare playing time for rookie Simi Fehoko.
The best option would be for a possible absence by CeeDee to coincide with the return of Michael Gallup, but McCarthy was ambiguous on that topic earlier today.
Cowboys WR Michael Gallup (calf) is practicing for second week on IR. Mike McCarthy: "Just want to see him get through a full week and then evaluate it. I thought he had a really good week last week, so we'll just see how it goes. We're kind of up in the air on where he is."

Dallas has been without the third head of its WR monster since the middle of its season opener. Gallup injured his lower leg against Tampa Bay has been recovering throughout the Cowboys’ six-game winning streak and the bye week.
Gallup is currently in the 3-week practice window under the injured reserve policy. He has to either return from IR or remain on it permanently following Dallas’ Week 10 game against the Atlanta Falcons.
