The Dallas Cowboys have been bombarded with injuries in 2020. Early on Tuesday, they got more devastating news as rookie Cornerback Trevon Diggs was diagnosed with a fractured bone in his foot and will miss the next 4-6 weeks and possibly the remainder of the season.
With that unfortunate reality, the Cowboys could use some encouraging news, and they got it. According to Patrik Walker of CBS Sports, veteran Cornerback Chidobe Awuzie has been activated from injured reserve.
The #Cowboys activated Chidobe Awuzie from injured reserve. This means he'll likely return from his hamstring injury in Week 11 when the #Cowboys take on the #Vikings.
He returns as Trevon Diggs (foot) exits with injury.

Awuzie suffered a hamstring injury in Week 2 vs the Atlanta Falcons and was placed on injured reserve on September 25. He started his 21-day practice window on October 22, which puts him on track to return in Week 11 when the Cowboys hit the road to face the Minnesota Vikings.
