The Dallas Cowboys depth in the secondary just got a little thinner. According to Patrik Walker of CBS Sports, Cornerback Anthony Brown will undergo season-ending surgery to repair a torn triceps muscle.

Brown suffered the injury in this past Sunday’s 35-27 win over the Detroit Lions. He just recently got over a hamstring issue that forced him to miss the Cowboys Week 7 matchup vs the Philadelphia Eagles. He’s played in each of the last three games but most of his defensive snaps have gone to Jourdan Lewis. Still yet, you can never have too many corners in today’s NFL so this will be a blow for the Cowboys. The team does have corners Donovan Olumba and D.J. White on the practice squad so we’ll see which one gets called up to the 53 man roster. Brown is in a contract year and will be an unrestricted free agent in 2020.
