The Dallas Cowboys just got some good news to start the week. According to ESPN’s Todd Archer, All-Pro Cornerback Byron Jones will be activated off the PUP list today.

In March, Jones had surgery to fix a hip ailment that had been bothering him since the end of 2018. He’s coming off his best season as a pro in which he not only made his first pro bowl but also earned second-team All-Pro honors. The Cowboys finished 13th against the pass last season and if they have any hopes of being that good or better they’ll need their top corner on the field. The hope was for Jones to be ready for week 1 against the New York Giants and that has a great chance of happening now.
