With the return of football comes the return of injuries, and the Dallas Cowboys are not immune to these challenges.
Starting nickel cornerback Jourdan Lewis will miss the upcoming week of practice after turning his ankle on Thursday. Head coach Mike McCarthy added that Lewis has been having a great training camp thus far, and he is hopeful that Lewis will be fully healthy the following week as they turn their attention to the Los Angeles Rams.

The Cowboys open their season with the Rams on September 13th, so Jourdan Lewis still has some time to get himself ready.
Dallas’ secondary may be their biggest question mark heading into the 2020 season, as they look to replace former All Pro cornerback Byron Jones. Lewis is expected to hold down that slot cornerback role as he did ti finish the 2019 season, and Dallas cannot afford to miss him when the real games begin.
