This may not be the free-agent news fans want to hear but the Dallas Cowboys just decided the fate of one of their players for 2020. According to ESPN’s Field Yates, the Cowboys will pick up the club option on Fullback Jamize Olawale.
The Cowboys have picked up the 2020 option for FB Jamize Olawale, per source. While his offensive role in Dallas has been limited in two seasons, he’s one of the team’s core special teams players.

His role on offense hasn’t been defined yet as evident by him only logging nine starts with two receptions and no rushing attempts since signing in March of 2018. However, he’s been a solid special teams player, logging 277 snaps and four tackles in 2019 alone.
Now, new special teams coordinator John Fassel has a solid piece to work with as he tries to turnaround one of the league’s worst units from last season.
