The Dallas Cowboys have reportedly re-signed free agent Cornerback Anthony Brown to a three-year deal. Brown, a former 6th-round pick of Dallas in 2016, has started 34 games over the last four seasons.
Along with keeping Brown, Dallas also signed CB Maurice Canady today to help fill our their depth chart.

While neither of these moves replaces the loss of Byron Jones to the Dolphins, it does give Dallas four experienced corners for 2020. They could still pursue a bigger name in free agency or the draft at this point.
Ironically, Brown was drafted 20 spots ahead of Canady in 2016. Now both will be competing for playing time with the Cowboys.
Anthony Brown has been a great find for where he was drafted. He has to start playing immediately in 2016 due to injuries and held up well, and has been a trusted reserve ever since. His playing time dropped some last year as Jourdan Lewis ascended.
We’ll see what the financial details are when available, but it is likely a good bargain for the Cowboys given Brown’s lack of production last year.
