The Dallas Cowboys had five unrestricted free agents to make the decisions on this offseason along the defensive line, with Defensive End Robert Quinn being at the top of the list. Unfortunately, the former All-Pro has made a decision on his NFL future, and it’s not what the Cowboys want to hear.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Quinn has agreed to a five-year, 70 million dollar deal (30 million in guarantees) with the Chicago Bears.
The #Bears are signing pass-rusher Robert Quinn to a 5-year, $70 million contract with $30 million fully guaranteed, agent Sean Kiernan from @SelectSports tells me and @TomPelissero. A new home for the former #Cowboys star after a huge year.

This is a huge blow to the Cowboys defense. In 14 games in 2019 (missed two due to suspension), Quinn’s 11.5 sacks led the team. The Cowboys wanted to retain Quinn but not at this price tag.
Now, edge rusher just moved up on the list of priorities for the Cowboys in the draft.
