The Dallas Cowboys defense takes another hit in 2020 as they have moved Defensive Tackle Antwaun Woods to injured reserve, ending his season.
Per Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News, the Cowboys have moved their starting 1-technique defensive tackle to injured reserve after injuring his ankle.

Woods finishes the season second among the interior defensive linemen in tackles and stops per Pro Football Focus and had their highest overall grade for an interior defensive lineman.
In what was an underwhelming season for the Dallas Cowboys interior defensive line, Woods continued to show his value as a rotational defensive tackle. After attempting to upgrade the position by bringing in Dontari Poe and Gerald McCoy, it was Woods, once again, who was the Cowboys’ most consistent player along the interior for much of the season.
Heading into the 2021 offseason, Woods will be a restricted free agent, and the Cowboys may place the “original round tender” on Woods to bring him back next season. He hasn’t shown so much that he’d be sought after as a restricted free agent, but he’s certainly valuable as a backup for the Dallas Cowboys.
The Cowboys will need more from rookie Neville Gallimore, Eli Ankou, Justin Hamilton, and Tyrone Crawford over the final two weeks of the season.

The Dallas Cowboys also placed Chris Westry on injured reserve and signed Fullback Sewo Olinula off of the practice squad to the active roster ahead of the Cowboys game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Cowboys have signed FB Sewo Olonilua from practice squad. Last week, Olonilua's elevation from practice squad was a harbinger of RB Ezekiel Elliott (calf) missing game. Elliott has said he expects to play Sunday vs. Eagles. But enough doubt for Olonilua to be added now again.
