From Kansas City to Dallas and back again. After spending one season with the Dallas Cowboys Tight End Blake Bell is returning to the Kansas City Chiefs on a one-year contract according to reports.
Ex-Cowboys TE Blake Bell just completed his physical. He'll be signing a one-year contract with the Chiefs, source said. Dallas is moving forward at TE position with Blake Jarwin and Dalton Schultz. Sean McKeon also showed promise in 2020 when developing as undrafted rookie.

After Blake Jarwin suffered a season-ending injury in Week 1 Blake Bell ended up coming in handy for the Dallas Cowboys last year. The stat sheet will show that he caught just 11 passes for 110 receiving yards, but his primary value was that of a blocking tight end and special teams contributor.
Although “The Belldozer” played a valuable role for the Cowboys last season he simply wasn’t in their future plans. With the return of Blake Jarwin, the emergence of Dalton Schultz, and the promising play of Sean McKeon Dallas’ TE depth heading into the 2021 season is solid.
While Blake Bell provided a functional role in an injury plagued season he should be relatively easy to replace if the Dallas Cowboys choose to do so. His departure in free agency should have little to no impact on the Cowboys offense moving forward.
