The 2020 season for the Dallas Cowboys just may go down as the most frustrating in team history. Injuries have disseminated the roster on what seems like a daily basis.
This past Sunday was no different. Not only did the Cowboys lose Quarterback Dak Prescott for the season after he suffered a compound fracture and dislocation of his right ankle, but they may have also lost Defensive Tackle Trysten Hill who’s feared to have a torn ACL.
Cowboys defensive tackle Trysten Hill is believed to have suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in Sunday’s win against the New York Giants, according to multiple sources. He will have an MRI Tuesday morning. If the test confirms… https://t.co/0adoLpGrPo

An MRI is scheduled for Tuesday morning to determine the severity of the injury.
Hill suffered the injury with about 10 minutes left in the third quarter. As he tried to avoid a roughing the passer penalty on New York Giants signal-caller Daniel Jones, Hill landed awkwardly on his leg and was carted off the field.
Although the Cowboys pass rush has struggled in 2020, Hill has been one of the few bright spots, flourishing under the guidance of new Defensive Line Coach Jim Tomsula. Now, the Cowboys will look to fill the void of losing Hill with third-round rookie Neville Gallimore who was active for the first time vs the Giants this past Sunday.
A promising second year seems to have come to an end for Hill and makes the Cowboys already thin depth at the defensive tackle position that much worse.
