Cowboys Nation is getting excited about the possibilities for their offense in 2019, and while most of that excitement circles around former offensive coordinator Scott Linehan’s departure, some of the new offensive weapons are intriguing as well.
Right at the top of that list of new players deserving excitement is running back Tony Pollard. The rookie out of Memphis brings a ton of speed and explosion, some of which was on display at OTAs this week. The official Cowboys team account tweeted a video of Tony Pollard breaking free during practice, and showing off that very speed that has fans fired up.

Of course, it’s hard to put much stock into a highlight play during a May practice when no one is wearing pads, but seeing Pollard break free with the Cowboys’ uniform on was exciting for any fan to see.
Check out the highlight above, and begin to envision what this offense could look like come the Fall of 2019.
