3 Players who Could Reach Their First Pro Bowl Next Season

The Cowboys have some players on the roster that could get over the hump and make their first Pro Bowl appearance.

I will touch on a few players who I think could get their first nod next season and would like to hear who you would add to the couple of players I mention.

The first player is pretty-clear cut, Tony Pollard. I can see him rushing for 1,000 yards on the ground next year. Even if he doesn’t make it for the offense because he isn’t the “feature” back for Dallas, Pollard should make it as a special teams guy. He brings so much to the table for the Cowboys, his value is through the roof. Pollard could sneak into the Pro Bowl next season.

The next guy I think could make his first Pro Bowl is Dalton Schultz. He has a real chance to put up 1,000 yards at the tight end position, the first for the Cowboys since Jason Witten did it in 2012. I am still holding out hope they get a deal done by Friday, or he would have to play on the franchise tag. As of Wednesday, July 13, I have not seen any movement on them coming to terms on a deal.

Schultz finished sixth among all tight ends with 808 receiving yards, third with 78 receptions, and fifth in touchdowns with eight, numbers you like to see from a guy who probably sits right inside a top 10 list of tight ends going in 2022.

The last guy I think could make his first Pro Bowl comes on defense. Neville Gallimore is a sleeper for me. He only played five games last season due to injury but had 13 total tackles and 1.5 sacks. With the likes of Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence creating havoc already, I am excited to see what he can do for the entire year on this defense.
