There are a lot of reasons for excitement around the Dallas Cowboys pass rush unit heading into 2018, but one reason has flown under the radar a bit as of late.
That reason is that Cowboys legend and future Hall of Famer DeMarcus Ware has been working with the defensive ends as a volunteer coach, and brings with him incredibly valuable lessons and experiences.
DeMarcus Ware spoke to the media about his new gig, and why he feels that he can improve the ability of the Cowboys young pass rushers. The following video is courtesy of DallasCowboys.com and “Zeke Channel” on YouTube.

DeMarcus Ware spoke about how he can help teach the guys the “ins and outs of the NFL,” and with the off the field problems which have plagued this unit in the past those lessons will be very important.
Ware also discussed the new top dog on the Cowboys defensive line, DeMarcus Lawrence. Ware mentioned that no matter how great Lawrence was a year ago, he’ll now be tasked with making the rest of the line better as a leader while remaining consistent in his own game. He will also have a “bulls eye” on his back from opposing offenses adjusting their blocking schemes to stop him.
This will be a tall task, but with DeMarcus Ware and Rod Marinelli aiding him, Lawrence should be able to continue his dominant play in 2018.
