The best time of the year is finally here, the start of Dallas Cowboys football. Although it is the start of the season, that brings a lot of questions that we soon hope to have answers to as the games now count for real.
Both teams have high expectations for the season. The Cowboys, as they have had for the last three or four years bring talent into the season on both sides of the football.
They added some new faces, but return a lot of the same team that got them to 12-wins a season ago.

Low Scoring Game
Now that we are finally less than a week away from watching real Cowboys football, I have had a chance to really look at what I think is going to win this game.
I think it is going to be a battle of two of the best defensive in football. You have Myles Garrett on one side and Micah Parsons on the other side.
A solid secondary, that will make the wide receivers get open. Nothing is going to be easy in this game.
The Cowboys caught a break, as Nick Chubb is starting the season on the pup list. That means he will miss at least the first fours games, that clearly includes the first game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Without Jermore Ford is a solid running back, but he is not Chubb. This team added some beef to the defensive line, although older, it should be enough to force the Browns to throw the ball into a very solid secondary of the Cowboys.
Both Teams Are Still Good
Cleveland was able to make the playoffs last season, despite a ton of injuries, and they will look for a big season out of Watson.
This should be a very good game, but I am still not sold on Watson. I know Dallas’ offense should be great once again this season, yet some folks don’t think so.
I honestly think that they are more mad they have picked Dallas to have less than 12-wins in the last three seasons, and Dallas has made them look awful predicting that.
Dallas is not going to win 15 games, but they sure as heck won’t only win 8 like some are saying.

Pressure is on both of these teams, but to act like neither will do anything like some of the media is saying is crazy.
Niether one of them lost enough to even warrant that, they both have major questions at quarterback, but if the Browns showed them, they could win without them for an entire year.
If Dallas moves off Dak Prescott, they might pick inside the top 10.

An Offense Will Win This Game
I really do think both offenses will struggle in this game, but one of them is going to have to win this game.
I don’t think it will come down to a last possession or anything like that, but an offense that can find some rhythm in the second half and put their team up a couple of scores.
For all you betting folks out there, the O/U has been set at 42.5. I would take the under in that game. I think both defenses are just too good, and it is the first game of the season.
Not everything is going to click right away for either offense.
At the end of the day, it is fun to finally be talking about real games, and not about some offseason drama.
I would be in favor of them taking the ball first and making a statement with their offense. I don’t think it’ll happen, but it would be a huge win if they did.
