Will the Cowboys’ offense become unstoppable next season?

The Dallas Cowboys offense this season wasn’t what most fans expected. With struggles in the quarterback position, to problems with the offensive coordinator, everything seemed like a brawl this year.

With the controversy between Quarterback Dak Prescott and Cooper Rush earlier in the season, the rest of the offense seemed confused because they didn’t know who their leader would be.

This was problem number one.

When your team is split in a civil war, you already know your offense is in trouble.

Not to mention Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore. As many fans stated this year that he was a terrible coordinator, you can be sure to know that he caused the true downfall of the Cowboys.

Just one year prior to this year, the Cowboys had the best offense in the league, with stats that were through the roof and Super Bowl promising.

This year, the Cowboys fell with their offense but rose with their defense, which is a very strange occurrence considering that the Cowboys are mostly known for their amazing offensive skills and players.

The two problems I named (quarterback position and Kellen Moore) will not be a problem next season for both have been resolved.

Moore has been fired, and Prescott is not going anywhere as of now.

So, will the Cowboys’ offense rise, or fall next season?

To start, let’s take a look at who will be taking over the new offensive coordinator position, Brian Schottenheimer.

Schootenheimer has been a coach at… A LOT of teams, and has had over 25 years’ worth of experience in the sport.

This man seems to know what he’s doing and will be a critical part of if the Cowboys’ offense succeeds or not. I would assume that Schottenheimer is going to do a great job in his new position and will achieve great things during his stay.

Moving on to the players themselves, there has been a lot of growing potential with them. Let’s take Wide Receiver CeeDee Lamb for example.

This man has shown his true ability to catch the football on the field. So much skill comes off of him and he has become an amazing player since joining the team.

Don’t forget our newest Running Back, Tony Pollard. Pollard has become a household name with many fans and defiantly has a bright future ahead.

Tony Pollard still has some “improvement” in him which is an even better characteristic to have. More to improve on means he will get even better as months pass.

To answer the question, the offense will be better next year.

Even with Dak Prescott’s future on the chopping block, the team as a whole will come out stronger, and better next season.

I can’t wait for this year’s NFL draft where fans have their fingers crossed that the Cowboys will draft an offensive player to help keep the team’s playoff hopes alive.
